The towns of Greenfield and Corinth are located in the northwestern section of Saratoga County.
The town of Greenfield was first settled in 1786 and formed in 1793 from parts of the towns of Saratoga and Ballston. In 1794 the town of Greenfield was reduced to allow the towns of Day, Corinth and Hadley to be formed. The town is 67.7 Sq miles and is the largest town in Saratoga County based on area. The town includes the hamlets of Porters Corners, Lake Desolation and Middle Grove to name a few.
